Alaskan Musk Ox Horn Earrings

$55.00
Only 1 available

Musk Ox is an arctic mammal, weighing 400-500 pounds. Inupiaq-speaking Eskimos call it “omingmak”, meaning “the animal with skin like a beard,” due to thick and dense hair that hangs to the ground. Both male and female muskoxen have horns.

These earrings are a cross section of musk ox horn sourced from western alaskan tundras. This material is slightly translucent, odorless, and lightweight. Hand cut, sanded and polished to a shine.

Surprisingly lightweight and durable for all the wild adventures they’ll join you on, these make for a perfect alaskan touch and an intriguing conversation piece.
